In the short clip, the pair can be seen on a farm together as well as trying food with one another and Liam is captured running on a beach towards the sea.

Other memories include lighting up fireworks, skiing down a mountain, bowling and Liam holding an adorable pet pooch.

She captioned the post: “8.29.93. A special day for the most special soul. I miss you so much. Happy Birthday Liam.

“I wish we could celebrate together. In the next life I guess,” Kate concluded with a red heart emoji.

Fans flocked to the comments section to share their birthday messages to the much-loved star as well as sending their support to Kate.

One social media user commented: “Happy heavenly birthday to Liam. I’m sure he is smiling and proud of you every day beautiful girl.”

Another fan wrote: “He’s in heaven looking down and so proud of you,” while someone else said: “Thinking of you and sending you so much love.”

A fourth added: “Happy birthday to the person who impacted everyone’s life one way or another. My sweet girl, I hope you’re doing okay on this day and that you can overcome the hard days in the future. We love and support you.”

She also penned a heartfelt statement alongside another slew of snaps.

The open letter she wrote read: “My dearest Liam, it breaks my heart being that I can’t hand you a physical birthday card today. That I can’t hear your laugh, or tell you all the things I wish I’d said a thousand more times.

“I’ve been struggling to find the right words, but I’ll start with the most obvious, happy birthday. Today, you would have been 32. In your 31 years here on this earth you brought so much joy, happiness and hope to so many- especially to me.

“I hope you know how brightly you still shine, even from up there. I would give up years of my life just to give you a few more. I miss making memories with you. I miss having things to look forward to together.

“But today, my birthday gift to you is my strength. I promise you I will celebrate you extra today, honor your life, and cherish the beautiful times we’ve had. August 29th will be a date that sits in my heart for the rest of my life. I love you so much. Yours, Katelyn,” she signed off.

The pair were in a relationship for nearly two years, making their red carpet back in 2022.

The One Direction star was tragically killed when he plunged from a third-storey balcony in Buenos Aires on October 16 last year.

Kate had been staying with Liam in Argentina but flew back to America before his fatal accident.

Just last month, she marked the nine-month anniversary of his death, breaking down in tears as she opened up about her grief and biggest fear.

She poured her heart out on TikTok and admitted she worried Liam wouldn’t recognise her if they met again in the afterlife.

“Today marks nine months since Liam has left this world,” she said in the video.

“I don’t know if this is just a message for myself, or for Liam, or for anybody that’s navigating through grief that needs to hear this.”

Fighting back sobs, Kate told followers she had recently cut her hair, got new tattoos, and pierced her ears

She added: “Liam’s never seen me with hair this short. He’s never seen me with all these tattoos.

“And then I start thinking deeper into it… I don’t know how heaven works, but is Liam going to look the same way that he looked the last time I saw him?

“When my time comes, will Liam recognise me? I’m going to have wrinkles, white hair, bony hands… how will he find me?”

The heartbreaking thought left her in tears, but she recalled a comforting moment with a friend who reassured her: “Of course he’s going to recognise you… he’s going to be so glad you lived.”

Kate continued: “He’s going to want to sit there and hear all about it… It just reminded me to stay strong, and to carry on, and live my life to the fullest.”
