Police have just released the results of their investigation into the tragic death of former Arsenal academy player Billy Vigar, who passed away at the age of 21 after a severe head injury during Chichester City’s match last weekend.
In a statement issued early this morning, investigators confirmed that a strange substance was discovered on Vigar’s clothing and in trace amounts on his skin. The substance, described as a “rare industrial compound,” is believed to have come from the hard surface outside the pitch where the fatal collision occurred.
“Forensic teams are currently analyzing the material to determine whether it could have worsened the severity of the head trauma or contributed to complications after the injury,” the report said.
