Authorities and family members are desperately searching for Renee Eagle, a 22-year-old Native American woman who has been missing since the second week of May 2025.
Renee, who stands 5’1” and weighs 115 lbs, has brown eyes, brown hair, and a distinctive butterfly tattoo on her collarbone. Alongside the tattoo of the butterfly, there is a poignant message inked into her skin: “All was well.”
Loved ones say that detail has become a haunting reminder of her absence. “It’s so heartbreaking,” a family friend shared. “That tattoo was something she loved, and now it feels like a silent message as we pray for her safe return.”
Renee’s last known location was Spokane, Washington, and she has not been in contact with family or friends since mid-May — something relatives describe as completely out of character.
The case has gained attention under the #MMIP (Missing and Murdered Indigenous People) movement, which highlights the ongoing crisis of missing Indigenous women across North America. Advocates stress that every hour counts in efforts to find Renee.
