NICOLE Kidman was reportedly left “blindsided” by her split from country music icon Keith Urban – and was even pictured with her wedding ring on just days ago.
The sad news of Nicole and Keith’s split broke on Monday, with TMZ first to report that the celebrity couple were separating after 19 years of marriage.
The outlet shared how the Hollywood stars have been living separately “since the beginning of summer”.
Nicole, 58, is said to have been “blindsided” by her split from Keith, 57.
The famous actress appeared happy and upbeat as she attended Cle de Peau’s event in Los Angeles as the new brand ambassador – with her wedding band firmly on her ring finger.
At the event, Nicole looked fresh-faced as she posed up a storm while wearing a figure-hugging black gown.
Her wedding ring was on display, with her seemingly batting her marriage woes away.
A source revealed that since the split the couple’s two children have been in Nicole’s care with the star “holding the family together through this difficult time since Keith has been gone”.
It is currently still unknown what led to the pair’s separation.
Sources claim that it was not Nicole’s idea, with her blindsided, as she had been wanting to save their relationship.
Reports claim that sources have said Keith initiated the split on the grounds of being unhappy.
A source told the Daily Mail: “The intimacy isn’t there, they are just going through the motions [of being married].

“If this separation gets them back together, that would be amazing, but Keith had to call her out that he isn’t happy.”
Insiders also said that “Keith has acquired his own residence in Nashville and has moved out of their family home”.
The pair resided with their daughters, Sunday Rose, 17, and Faith Margaret, 14, in Nashville, Tennessee.
Nicole is also a mom to two older children, whom she adopted during her marriage with her ex-husband, Tom Cruise, 63.
