A chilling video of Nancy Guthrie’s bedroom shows exactly how the kidnapper may have broken into her home, a hidden CCTV camera that was overlooked

Chilling footage of bedroom Nancy Guthrie was likely taken from resurfaces as desperate search nears 6 weeks

Chilling footage of the bedroom Nancy Guthrie was most likely abducted from has resurfaced as the desperate search for Savannah Guthrie’s missing mom approaches its sixth full week.

The clip, which originally aired on the “Today” show in 2013, was unearthed by Megyn Kelly and shared to YouTube on Wednesday.

It shows Nancy, then 71, teaching her famous daughter and Savannah’s “Today” colleagues the proper way to make a bed every morning.

“Well, I think everybody needs to know how to make a bed,” Nancy said in the segment, which was filmed inside the bedroom of her $1 million Tucson, Ariz., home around 3 a.m. local time.

“So, when the time came to teach [Savannah and her siblings] how to make a bed, this is what I tried to teach you,” she added.

After joking that all three of her kids thought bed-making was a “really worthless skill,” Nancy walked Savannah and fellow “Today” co-hosts Al Roker and Natalie Morales through the steps.

“I’ll teach you a skill! It’s called napping, when you’re up at these hours,” Savannah later joked before Nancy signed off. “Love you, Mom.”

Kelly, however, noted how Nancy’s suspected kidnappers could have used the “Today” clip of Savannah’s mom’s bedroom to help abduct the 84-year-old from her home.

“So what’s interesting about that clip is you can see where she slept every night,” Kelly, 55, explained. “And you can see exactly what this abductor must have walked into.”

She continued, “I mean, does anybody’s mother dramatically overhaul their bedroom when they’re in their 80s, 70s? I mean, that was, what, 13 years ago?”

The “Megyn Kelly Today” host also suggested that the alleged ransom notes from early in the investigation could have been fabricated using the resurfaced “Today” clip.

“We had an alleged kidnapper note early on in the Nancy Guthrie scandal, claiming they knew exactly where she kept her Apple Watch,” she explained. “And they had described something inside Nancy’s bedroom. Did those people behind that note see this segment?”

Nancy, who was last seen on the night of Jan. 31, was first reported missing from her Tucson home on Feb. 1.

Investigators released photos and videos of an unidentified individual breaking into Nancy’s home the night she was last seen, and Nancy’s neighbors reported an internet outage shortly before Savannah’s mom went missing.

Savannah, 54, and her siblings, Annie and Camron, have posted several heartbreaking videos to social media, begging the suspected kidnappers to “do the right thing” in the weeks since their mom was taken.

The journalist said in her most recent video, which was shared Feb. 24, that she and her family have accepted that Nancy may “already be gone.” They also offered a $1 million reward for Nancy’s “miracle” return.

Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos, who has led the investigation into Savannah’s missing mom, told NBC News on Thursday that he and his team believe Nancy’s abductor might strike again.

Savannah has taken a leave of absence from “Today” as the desperate search for her mom continues.

However, she made an emotional return to the show’s set on March 5 for a short reunion with her NBC colleagues.
