An American woman who is missing after falling out of her boat in the Bahamas has been identified as a married mom who regularly posted about living her “best life” at sea with her husband.
Lynette Hooker, 55, was on an 8-foot dinghy with hubby Brian, 58, when she fell into the water Saturday night while trying to get back to their yacht, the Soulmate, Bahamian authorities told ABC News.
“Strong currents subsequently carried her away and he lost sight of her,” authorities said, without saying if the Michigan mom was wearing a life jacket.

The couple shared a picture of a small boat moored to a jetty before her disappearance.the_sailing_hookers/InstagramLynette was holding the boat key when she went overboard, causing its engine to cut off. Her husband eventually got to a Marsha Harbor marina around 4 a.m. Sunday to report his wife missing, sparking a search-and-rescue mission.
